Below are some answers to frequently asked questions that can assist you with the move in process. Please remember to read your personalized move in letter for more detailed information about your move in; if you need a copy please feel free to contact us with that request.

Q. How and when will I receive my move in letter?
A. Your move in letter will be emailed to you approximately 1 month prior to your lease start date. It will include information regarding picking up your keys, paying your first month’s rent, and the utilities that need to be set up in your name.
Q. When is my first rent payment due?
A. You will be required to submit your first rent check on your lease start date, regardless of the day you will actually be moving into the unit. Important Note: your first month’s rent may be prorated depending on your move in date. For your convenience, the prorated amount is stated in your move in letter. Please review your move in letter for an exact amount before writing a check.
Q. What types of payments are acceptable?
A. We do not accept cash or credit for rent payments, but you may make your payment using a personal check, money order, or cashier’s check. Important Note: we do not accept multiple checks for rent & parking payments. Please coordinate with your roommates so that the money can be combined and then submitted with a single payment.
Q. Who do I make my check out to?
A. Your check is made out to a specific entity dependent upon the complex in which you reside.

If you are an Abrego resident make your check payable to Eckert Investments
If you are College Gardens resident make your check payable to Eckert Investments

Q. Are there any utilities that need to be put into my name?
A. You can find the contact information of the utility services under the resources section on our website. Please ensure that you are observant as to which utility services are applicable to your complex. You can also find helpful information regarding utilities in your move-in letter. We recommend that you call to transfer services one week before your lease start date so service can begin as of this date. Similar to rent, this transfer is not dependent on the date you move in but rather on the date that is contained in your lease begins.
Q. I requested a parking space, how do I know what space to park in?
A.We will provide you with your parking permit and space # when you pick up your move in packet on move in day. You will pay your prorated parking amount at the time that you pick up your permit.
